I guess I'm not the only frustrated by their dynamic haha. I've finally gotten over it at chapter 14. The writing is just a little too superficial, and the conflict between Hyeon and Eunho gets repetitive. I think there's too much reliance on Eunho's internal monologue, and for two people who have been friends for over a decade and are in their late 20's or early 30's they are too non confrontational or something? Eunho says Hyeon understands him more than anyone but it's not convincing when Hyeon is also easily misunderstanding Eunho's intentions. Their conflicts are not that deep, but maybe it's partially frustrating because Eunho overthinks every single interaction with Hyeon. I wish the author explored why Eunho is so so passive, it's personally hard to watch him let Hyeon call him a son of bitch then basically tell himself he deserved it. Why does he have such bad self esteem? Maybe then it'd be easier to relate to him if there was a backstory for his temperament. It's also funny how oblivious both Hyeon and Eunho are of eachother's feelings. That producer and rest of the crew caught on so quick, and were pretty excited to exploit it. It seems a little convenient that neither of them will question if the other likes them given how they treat each other. One of their arguments, Eunho acknowledges that Hyeon was jealous of the hairdresser but doesn't come to the conclusion that he's jealous because he has feelings for him? I dunno, I don't mean to be harsh. I like that this story is focused on their relationship with each other, but man I wish either of them had a friend or anyone that would even jokingly say just date already lol
