Sunbae’s an asshole. He’s smart and perceptive. He can also call out bullshit. He knew MC liked him, even though MC couldn’t tell Sunbae that. So wym he didn’t know gay sex isn’t supposed to hurt??? He knew. No way in hell did he not realize something’s wrong. That’s his bad side. What I did like abt him was tht when he realized how much of an asshole he was, he apologized for it, albeit was too late, but still. He owned up to his mistakes. I liked that.
Hyung is an interesting one. He was hella creepy tbh. I literally dropped this before bcs of him. I got bored n thought to read this again…and oooohhhh boyyyy do I like him. He’s kinda manipulative. He’s basically a salesman pitching to MC on y he should pick him, bcs his existence depends on it. He knows MC inside out, so he knows how to act to get MC to like him. He knows when to step away for the time being, n when to appear exactly when MC needs him the most.
The MC…man I jst feel bad for him. He was unloved. The thing abt him is that he doesn’t care who, he jst needs the one who’s most likely to always stay by his side. He didn’t want to be hated (a toxic condition of his that was developed since he was a child), so he kept so many things to himself. That’s part of the reason y he was treated badly by sunbae. He couldn’t speak his mind. He couldn’t tell him that he wanted to proper relationship, n tht he wanted to b treated better in bed.
Now here’s y I think hyung and the MC are perfect for each other. They need each other in a way sunbae could ever. Sunbae’s jst a regular guy. He’s got people surrounding him, there’s always someone who’d love him. He wants MC, but he doesn’t need him. Hyung literally cannot EXIST w/o MC. He’s been there for MC since the beginning, it’s not his fault bro kept on forgetting him. MC? He needs someone to understand him more than anything else. Hyung is perfect for MC bcs he can literally hear his desires w/o MC ever having to say anything. Sunbae screwed it up by not taking his relationship more seriously, which ultimately betrayed MC n shattered his sense of security w sunbae. Hyung tho? Bro never betrayed him. It was actually MC who betrayed him bruh
