I think you need to re read chapter 53, because MC tells ML that the ring is a fake and is used as a repellent. And he also tells him that he didn't date anyone else at the same time

Oh my days the ignorance cannot be this bliss. How about you look at the fucking ring on your finger storming his hair and come to the realisation that MAYBE JUST MAYBE everyone in your fucking workplace including ml thinks your married or at the least engaged .
