There is one bulgarian song from the 90s that really reminds me of heejae and garam. Its called "Елмаз и Стъкло" by BTR(Diamond and Glass in english) The song is about a beautiful but cruel woman, who lives in her high ruby tower, distant and mysterious. She has the power to turn people into objects simply by looking at them(literally heejae and his gem obsession lmao). The narrator, a lonely man, desires her love and wants to get close to her, so he waits on the hills each night and waits untill she comes out of her tower so he can see her, but she never looks at him back. Then, one day, in his desire to have her look at him, he goes into the tower and climbs to the top. She finally sees him, but then he is transformed into a crystall mirror. She is finally looking at him, but instead of seeing him, she can only see her own reflection. (thats atleast how i interpret the song) and the chorus is really beautiful too: Without being able to receive love I live like a bird without wings and you probably will never learn, you, my heart.
Ive cried at least 10 times listening to it since new chapter dropped. Its one of my favorite songs, its definately worth a listen
