The past relationship with him and the FL also felt more dynamic, whereas the current ML had to have a spell cast on him to become even semi interesting? I get that it’s his truer self becoming “unleashed” in a way but even now it’s like he’ll be a little intimidating, have sex with the FL and then rinse and repeat like im kinda bored now.
