Koidoes not know Ashley's Strict discipline (abuse)of Grayson as Ashley mentioned to Dane that Koi would hate Ashley and won't let his action slide. But Koi doesn't find out because Ashley had already separated him from the kids to protect him from their misbehaviour.

Probably because people wanted "Koi to raise voice against Ashley's decision of separating them which Koi did not object.
BUT Koi trusted Ashley with kids and to also pacify Ashley's insecurity that koi will end up dead if kids hurt him and Ashley will follow suit because he cannot live without Koi.
From people's perspective Koi is "accomplice to Ashley's discipline ( neglect and abusing) of kids" which kind of stretching the blame to him

WAIT I remember in lick me up, after the incident, didnt koi beg for him to let me care for Chase himself? since hes different? but Ashley yelled at him and basically called him deranged ? Wallah I remember that in the novel.
But he doesn't comply to be abuse, hes more like naive about the abuse?

Koi (the Graysons omega parent, the brown haired one in chapter three) went through an accident where Grayson tried to 'poison' him by adding I think rat poison in a cake him and his twin sister made. Therefore Koi had a reaction and nearly died. Ashley came in time and because of getting poisoned, Ashley strangled Grayson then threw him in a room without food or water for three days.
Koi went to the hospital and was okay, but Ash told him from now, theres going to be limits on how long he stays with them, talks to them, breathes near them at this point, and Koi gets of course upset and says 'at least let me care for Chase cause hes a sensitive kid and whatever'. Ashley yells are him, saying BS like 'they'll kill you, you cant handle them, they aren't normal' Koi gets scared and shuts his mouth and those strict rules are now added.
Chase gets emotionally neglected by Ashley, Chase and Koi had a special bond and it was ripped by Ash, thats why hes the way he is. I just asked if he knew about the abuse, but turns out he didnt, which makes Ash look like an asshole.

I love healthy discussion of about the story the character's actions without severely villianizing one character over. As these stories are generally about how abuse cycle, parental neglect can affect people and how these not so good people find their love and move forward to try breaking toxic and abuse cycle and learn from their mistakes.

No, you are making too much of it. He asked if he could still see Chase, since Ashleys forbid him to see the others for the time being. Chase at that time wasn't manifested. Koi loved all his children, there wasn't anything special between him and Chase iirc, it was just that Chase manifested late and was looking for attention and love.

I read the novel a while ago but does Koi even know that Ash strangled Grayson? Does Koi know about what Chase went through with Ashley? Gen asking cause theres NO way he'll let it slide right?
