Ennead there are 200+ chapters so far and still hasn't finished yet. Apparently there are quite of BL that goes more than 150 chapters lmao. I've ever seen a BL manhua that has 400 chapters and still going on.
turning(novel) has around 1000 chapters iirc, though the manhwa adaptation is still ongoing and didn't reach that far yet
Apparently it's common for webnovel to have that many chapters, bcs technically writing is easier than drawing full colored panels. I've even found a novel that has 9000 chapters and still ongoing. It's different thing with webtoon, as for just drawing 1 panel you need a lot of time to make it work, storyboarding - sketching - outlining - coloring - shading - background - sfx & speech bubble

i mean it depends?? i've read & had on my tbr list quite a bit of webnovels, both short and medium/long, maybe not enough to be certain for 100%, but still i wouldn't say that 1400+ chapters is THAT common?? especially for a BL?? i mean, even with action novels, it's usually like 600-800 chapters at most? at least those that i've seen. but the point is, that one IS fairly long and so the adaptation is going to be long as well. also, i do understand the difference between mediums and the process of creating of each medias, lol, thanks for the lecturing. still not the point bc a lot of manhwas ARE adaptations, and the original stories are shorter than 1000+ chaps.
it's a slowburn with a well-written worldbuilding and plot, the setting is so detailed that sometimes you may find yourself forgetting that it's an omegaverse BL, there is THAT much stuff going on plot-wise(in a positive way, i really enjoy it. hope i'll make it to the day when i have enough energy to read the OG novel, which is in my tbr list, but rn i'm only following the adaptation. it's good tho)
It's that common, srlsy. I used to read plenty of webnovels including BL, and found many of them have 1400+ chapters tho. Esp if you tryna to read from other languages with no translation yet. I apologize if I came across as rude. I was just kinda tryna say that bcs it's mangago which is a webtoon platform, most webtoon has less than 100 chapters. So that's why some ppl on reply were taken aback to see chapter 555 (apparently just a typo). Then you responded with novel to compare, so I just thought it doesn't quite comparable
i brought up turning solely bc it *does* have a manhwa adaptation, which means that (if not butchered,) it's going to have quite a lot of chapters too, making it the "kinda BL that goes on for more than 150 chapters" as og comment said (and i was replying to og comment which didn't even specify the medium? just the genre?) but ok, ig i just worded that poorly
