I understand why so many people hate this manhwa, it's misogynistic slop while the target demographic/main audience is probably women.. not saying discrimination can't be in stories though. I understand it's supposed to show female perserverance and equality (in the end), but I feel the MC is just treated like a dog by everyone around her, to the point I cant forgive them. it's like if I had to read a story where MC is racially abused or discriminated majority of the story, and then the perpratrators 'get better' and treat MC nicer... like no bro, I don't want the MC to be kinder or be friends w these people. the scenes where her brothers are being "over protective" against jinsu. am I supposed to feel endeared? they see their sister as a lesser human... whats so cute?
I also hate jinsu.... such a boring guy, shes better off on her own or something else. I feel he's just added for the token romance slop of reincarnation stories, when it's really never needed but the author just forces it down our throats anyway instead of actually making their story good. I also hate the discrimination in the story. I felt the story was like "hey, women have power too, so surprise!! they're worthy of respect, and prob shouldn't be enslaved" rather than "it doesn't matter if women have power, because they're still conscious humans deserving of respect no matter what".
