ngl rather than ml saving mc i hope ml is more like the push or trigger to mc breaking free from the abusive relationship himself, since i feel like it's more of a healthier method of leaving an abusive relationship rather than just being "saved". i also feel like it would be a better representation of healing instead of being taken out of the scenario, since then mc might become too dependent on ml which is honestly unhealthy in it's own way.
