I've read many story where the main character is a child, and I've gotta say, this is one of the only ones where the child is an ACTUAL child. Usually it's an adult in a child's body (through transmigration or regression), however, in this case, Aileen is a regressor, but she was young when she died in her first life, so her mentality is still that of a child. The writer did a GREAT job showing a child's train of thought and way of speaking. Since she's still a child, her personality is BEYOND adorable, I spend most of the time smiling while reading. It's nice to see such an innocent point of view for the main character. She isn't a genius, nor is she extremely powerful as a child, but she's special non the less. The way everyone around her falls in love with her is just so predictable when you have such an adorable child. Also, the way her snake family, who are usually cold and indifferent to everything, love her SO MUCH, is adorable ?
The story itself is unique and interesting. The male lead suits her perfectly as well. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes beastkin story.
