I feel he does in his own way, like I think Cheol is also very obsessed with Minyoung, but because of Minyoung’s years of extreme manipulation, stalking, and complete lack of boundaries, Cheol had become so instinctually submissive in their relationship that he didn’t even think of attempting of doing anything as unhinged as Minyoung (not that I think he would lol) even though Cheol does obsessively crave and yearn for Minyoung’s attention and affection. Which I also think has to do with Minyoung’s manipulation, especially during their decade long break and the flowers Minyoung sent throughout that time.

nonono yeah he definitely matches his freak in a submissive way. but i mean like i want to see him react in a explosive “land-mine” way yk? suffering the toxicity and manipulation from minyoung, i wannna see it drive him crazy!!! so crazy he starts to threaten his own life against him??? idk something that intense definitely doesn’t fit cheols character but i can dream:3

Oh absolutely, I see what you mean, and I think we just may! I mean I was over here thinking Cheol murdered Minyoung, but he was just drugged tf out lol. But I think in that fit of being on drugs, with Cheol imagining Minyoung’s refusal to apologize or validate him, we can see Cheols desperation to want to control Minyoung no matter the cost. I wonder when Cheol finds out about Minyoung potentially murdering his brother (cuz idk if he’s fr dead), if that will mentally push him even more over the edge. Like I think the idea of Cheol self destructing in retaliation to Minyoung is very possible, and already a characteristic of his, because he was being self destructive when he got married. With these two I can only imagine an imminent crash, but I really don’t know how that would play out, the unknown of what will happen in this story makes it so interesting, it’s yummy asf lmaoo
