I don't like how the author made the ending seem "happy" and how the fmc finally "made a decision for HERSELF" when the situation dosent agree and is logically not true,
maybe in hindsight it does look like it because of how bold she looks but it really isn't, she knows poisoning the emperor wouldn't make her free and she would get killed instead so she choose to side with the emperor and acted bold because she knows he would never kill her,
and the "decision she made for herself" aka getting pregnant seems more like she's tired of living like a corpse and found the easiest solution to get out of her misery even if it isn't what she would've truely wanted,
Also her "becoming empress" to stop war and share peace isn't something to be happy about for her, she sacrificed herself for peace and that's what she'd been doing her whole life, she never actually make a decision for herself and just did for the greater good of other people
What she needs is a decision that benefits HERSELF, because what's a choice if it was always for other people's benefit? She needs to think for herself and get a little selfish
