The ML acted way too composed even after the MC found out his secret. The MC was crying and I was sobbing!!! I’m not expecting him to grovel and all that because he had his reasons but the way that the MC forgave him way too easily… The conflict, as far as I remember, got resolved in just a chapter, meh.
He said “I can’t lose you,” etc. and it just came off wrong. For me it’s such a selfish thing to say. He didn’t back off and gave the MC some time to ponder about their relationship after he explained. He just insisted that they start all over again. Like??? And that’s up to you? Lmao.
Throughout the story, I kept thinking that the ML maybe was just very cool and mature but honestly, smug is the better word. I didn’t like the way he called out the MC for lying when he was lying to him the whole time and didn’t have the balls to actually say a thing before romantically pursuing the MC. And can he stop smirking? Omg he acted so nonchalantly. I’m reading BL to escape smug and nonchalant men, pls.
I don’t HATE the ML and don’t consider him a red flag. He’s hot and all, but I just don’t like the viiibes! Lol. I hope the artist switch it a little bit and give more time for the MC before accepting the ML again. Idk I just felt bad for the MC because he’s transparent and trusting, and everybody around him kept lying and scheming. :((
