Art is ok and I think this could have had an interesting premise but the author dropped the ball.
Like, there are a lot of "bl" stories where the relationship is messed up and there's no actual love. Take killing stalking for example. It coud have been a thoughtful commentary on how obsession isn't love.
But to do that they should have dove deeper into why the brother was the way he was and they kinda ignored it after a few chapters?? We don't really see him develop he basically just stops suddenly cause his sister asked him to. And we don't see his progression in the past of how he became like that. It's like he's s completely different person at the end.
Also, if he's gay, maybe they should adress it? Not as a serious thing since homophobia doesn't seem like a thing here lol but idk, he could get a boyfriend he actually loves. Or if he didn't even life the ml and men romantically and was just obsessed, they could have gone more into depth with that as well.
Wish we could see the ml and mc's relationship develop more? Like from the start he already likes her and then we get the whole oh yeah she saved him blabla but it feels more like they're telling us, not showing us. And this is a comic!! Showing is so much easier here than in novels. Also just a lot of characters aren't well utilized in general like where he hell did the parents go.
Alsoooo I'm not gonna say it's necessarily homophobic because at least the mc here never "turns a gay man straight" but it's really weird to write a story and base it on bl and then just never adress anything queer except for the brothers "obsession" with the ml that randomly magically stops. It's like you want to have your cake and eat it too. Just put random gay couples in the background it's not hard?

My two cents
