the power dynamics between the two leads is awesome. it keeps flip-flopping the more they reveal their past history. like in the opening scene, it's clear aki was making a pass at jun, which jun rejected... in adulthood, the roles are reversed, except aki can never say no to jun and so jun gets his way... and then this is reflected in childhood, when jun asks to play "house", threatens to leave, and then maneuvers the situation so that aki agrees to be his play-wife. so fun that they are always flip-flopping who is in "power".

it so efficiently tells us that it's not going to end well. they genuinely can't say no to each other, but theyre also not brave enough to change the status quo, only messing around in cars... Like ... their relationship could only have ever existed in the margins. they got distant because they were scared of their connection. And thats so sad considering how much they are fixated on each other lol they have a genuine chemistry that's fun to read.

anyways i just wanted to point out: it's skillful how the writer managed to convey so much of their lifetime of obsession with each other thru only like 6 chapters. ive read a Lot of manga okay The pacing in this one is incredible. i really enjoyed it!
