While reading the manhwa, I was praying so hard not to make the white-haired, ML, and I was even about to drop this because he was unbearable, but after reading the novel, I feel like hugging the ML and crying out loud. His situation is so helpless. When he was a child, he was tricked into making an unfair deal with the former empress, even before he could properly understand the curse. And the twin is exploiting the curse put on him. After this incident the emperor under empress's influence will force him to marry the fl. But after their marriage, fl will become more violent and abusive because she is still beliefs the ml is just following orders and never loves her and she is in intense pain because of the injury. There, we will start to notice how calm and tolerant he is with the fl, not just because of duty, but because he really cares about the fl. Almost every day, he'll end up with scratch marks from his wife but he'll still take care of her personally. He'll always take the fl side, even when sometimes she's unreasonable. At some point, fl will force herself on him, she became pregnant but had a miscarriage, she'll blame him and he'll take the blame. He'll go back to war because the fl couldn't tolerate him. While he was away, she adopted a wolf pup and treated it like her own child, but later it attacked ml bro, disabling him permanently. So ml has to take the wolf and kill it. After this fl hated him even more. Moving forward, their first timeline will end in tragedy, fl died while protecting their territory from the enemy while he was away. But his emotions were trained to get numb during childhood, so he couldn't even cry during funeral but when the twins rushed to him just after 2 weeks after fl death and proposed a marriage with CP's sister and him. ML finally lost his sanity he choked the crown prince and was about to kill him (this was my fav part) even though hurting the twin equally hurts him physically because of the curse. But he was ready to die there because he had nothing more to lose. But the twin sisters stopped them in time and dragged her bro away. But later she came to persuade him with more sophisticated nonsense but he threatened her that he would break her neck so she ran away. After this, he went through the fl room and found her diary and belongings. He had thought she hated him and couldn't tolerate his existence, but there he realized how much she loved him. He shed tears for the first time since his childhood. After some days, he became more disoriented and finally came to fl and their child's grave to end his life, but before he could stab himself, fl's wolf, (whom he actually released in the wild since he couldn't kill it because fl kept begging him that the wolf is the reincarnation of their unborn child) came back and killed the ml. And when the ml opens his eyes, he goes back in time, but from the perspective of the wolf when fl first adopts it. He was made to experience fl pov as her pet wolf, well, now he's an elegant gentleman wolf with manners. The story is still ongoing so I'll stop here. In my opinion both fl and ml suffered a lot, but ml suffering just doubled ╮(￣▽￣)╭
