I notice it's the author's style and now I'm not so sure I want to read anymore of their works.
Don't get me wrong, they're good. Just too slow and it's always at the last two chapters that something happens between them. Call me a degenerate because I look forward to the smex scenes, but that's basically the essence of yaoi. If you were gonna make them have smex, then at least make it 1 chapter long
And it's not the smex that bothers me. It's the fact that they always do these monologues and flashbacks for the entire 3 chapters. Dwelling on their past and fearing the future when all they need to do is to focus on the present. It's practically this author's signature tbh.
