I bet you 10$ that she didn't actually reincarnate/possess Hasel. She IS Hasel, but smth happened that led her to overdo her illusion magic and it backfired so bad that she convinced herself that she lived elsewhere and what she went through is just this arbitrary romance story. A much bigger conspiracy theory that I came up with based on that, is that the trigger for this backlash was her turning back time, or manipulating everyone's mind. Basically deleting their knowledge of the future to make it feel like it was turned back. This is why the demons are already so agressive and going for the throat, so to say, they're already as powerful as they were in whatever further point along in the "novel" it was that Hasel did the thing. Maybe it was turned back by other means but just going from the given information that's what I sussed out. There is also ML and him having this crazy demon king worthy aura but let's not get me started on the possibilities.
