One of the things I hate most in yaoi manhwa is the sob story for rapists and abusers. Like, how the hell does your childhood trauma become an excuse to sexually assault someone? You chose to do something disgusting, then throw your tragic backstory at the victim and readers to get sympathy. I seriously don’t get why authors think rapists and abusers deserve a second chance just because they had a shitty past. Trauma can explain why someone is broken, but it doesn’t excuse what they choose to do to someone else. (╬￣皿￣)凸
