Binged in one go! It was ok, I was expecting more maybe bc I came in with high high expectations from all the love ppl have for this so the reality didn’t hit my high mark. Idk I hate how seme was the butt of every situation like he had the short end of the stick the entire story and catered to the whims of the uke.
I usually love a reasonable, green flag, communicative seme, but for once I wanted him to blow up. Being constantly pushed away to the point of getting injured bc uke doesn’t want to be seen with PDA with him had me feeling hurt for him. How uke was so soft on those twins when he thought they liked him or when he was aware being close to them might make his bf jealous but couldn’t be firm with them. Talking shit about his bf behind his back, he said he doesn’t mean it, but it’s still a crap thing to even consider, and seme was hurt and didn’t blow up. I mean green forest but damn unsatisfactory. When he lied about going on that blind date, then randomly broke up with his bf bc of his trauma… and seme was the one putting in effort to maintain the relationship after too. PS I’m not one to say what causes trauma to ppl or not but I thought stepmom and his dad were abusive, turns out they’re caring and sweet and uke was just comfortable with the divorce leading to his trauma…
Also, this is just me lol but I didn’t like how the author gave all these “love interests” to uke, who has a promiscuous past, and only gave the virgin seme one… and that one was seen annoyingly close to uke to incite misunderstanding.
