Just a guess but I think Jiheon and Sunjoon have the same Father and since Sunjoon is older, I'm guessing Jiheon's Mom is a third party and Jiheon's the fruit of the affair the reason why they are not together because he has his own family which is Sunjoon's. Just a guess or was it revealed?
