TAPAS????? AW HECK NAW
Half of my tbr gone just like that
tnkr site and it's telegram also disappeared. I'm still devasted with what happened to Chrysanthemum Garden. That was a genuine human TL site with a large repository of CN novels.
OMG CRYSANTHEMUM GARDEN IS SHUTTING DOWN? ARE MY BRAIN CIRCUITS BROKEN AM I HEARING THAT RIGHT
It's ironic that Bato fell because of piracy and now legal sites where people paid to read are closing. What was the point?
It’s not even about piracy, it’s literally about keeping international fans out.
Yes! Announced today, their discord server is also gone now.
yeah, kaokass announced a week ago that they’d be shutting down their international app: Tapas. They also announced today that anything bought in there will not transfer to the actual Kaokao app even though accounts will. It’s literally not even about piracy anymore, a lot of artists and writers found at the same time users did. I have no clue why they are doing this.
to add on: they received a Cease and Desist from RIDI Corporations. So that is why they have stopped operations.
Literally whats the point? They were working on removing all the k novels :( fuck them honestly
First bato, then tapas is shutting down, and NOW Chrysanthemum Garden. They literally don’t want international fans at all.
