Others may disagree with me but after reading only 5 chapters, what occurs to me is that as a fan of who-done-it novels, this story is like an insult. Why can’t the author do a normal crime story? Spoiler alert . . Can’t MC be a normal brilliant detective with trauma? What do you mean he fucked a guy he just met, who was also supposed to be a prime suspect? How does it make sense? On top of that, they even fucked at a crime scene? And why would an experienced detective bring along the prime suspect to a crime scene in the first place? What makes him so sure that ML isn’t a murderer? A detective would never do that. There should be a bottom line to things like that. If you want to write a crime-mystery plot, at least try to develop a proper crime without involving some fuck-up smut.
