Not sure how to describe but I'm reading Absolute Regression and I love the structure of the story. Yes there's plenty of actions whatnot but it centers more on the characters and their interactions. The dialogue feels deep and human. The characters feel alive and their own persons. Looking to read similar stories. Don't mind if different genre as long as it's not ending in tragedy
