MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!!!
I mean manga is actually the og much before manhua/manhwa so you are right to feel the originality...and personally story wise mangas are far versatile than manhwa /manhua...
oh yesss believe me i know that mangas are the blueprint i remember we had watanabe asia way before we had bwat~ it just feels refreshing to read mangas again after i focused too much on manhwas (/TДT)/ i guess im going back to my roots ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
and there's also a lot more drawings since every single page is packed with panels, manhwa sometimes feel like fastfood where they would put a whole blank page with just sentences explaining what happened instead of illustrating it properly
i really love reading mangas!! not gonna lie the manhwas coming out lately are kind of repetitive with the same plot just different characters, i mean i don't hate it but i do get bored reading them, especially when you can tell what's going to happen next. mangas on the other hand.. I always get that sense of originality.
