U know... I can see the idea of a complex mother char but the execution and overall ain't right.
I think one of the problem is- we were introduced to the duchess as this woman who fell in love and tried her best to save this dude she well in love with. But when she arrived, her overall char isn't like her introduction (then again, maybe it's part of the story where the image of her from other people's pov vs who she actually is) either u make me hate her and then get char arc or love her.
Either way, there's just so many wrong executions going on especially how she treats her children.
UNLESS- THE REASON SHE TRIED TO SAVE THIS FAMILY IS CUZ SHES THE OVER CONFIDENT AND HERO COMPLEX TYPE CHAR!! ╮(￣▽￣)╭ which will make it worse cuz.. personally, I despise those chars if they don't do the things they do with compassion
