The story feels weirdly empty but purposeful at the same time cuz there's no agency with the MC other than him trying to improve his body to control his magic again. Most of the time, he gets swept into a plot that has nothing to do with him lol. I like misunderstanding plot like this. The MC is weak (by force) but everyone keeps treating him like the strongest person ever.
