The problem with this two is that they don't know the boundaries how a person should treat a friend. Both of them only have each other's back since as it shows, they don't have other friends. They rely on each other too much that even in times when they fight, there's no other person they can talk to. Despite Eunho trying to draw the line you can actually see him crossing the usual boundary a friend should show making Ji Hyeon feel shit for the push and pull dynamic between them. Ji Hyeon has his own trauma especially he grew up already exposed in the industry, everyone crossed the boundary enough for him not to trust anyone but that doesn't mean it justifies his behavior but rather one of the factor he acts like that. Meeting Eunho who is different from he used to, he wants to keep him. He don't know what he felt or did wrong because as a child as he said no one taught him. He never had a mother or father figure to teach him even how to regulate his own emotion so knowing he was starting to get into therapy is a step already. Maybe, somehow if he able to trust a therapist or what, he might actually realize what he actually felt. And for Eunho, it was actually understable why he acts like that because he keeps trying to draw the line despite him crossing it makes it more confusing. We know he likes him but he never stick to his words making Hyeon do whatever he wants causing more problem with their already blurry relationship. Despite both of them being friends for years, they still do things that they are both aware would hurt the other person making it frustrated to read. I just feel like it will take more chapters of the misunderstanding rather both of them facing the problem itself. A proper communacation will do but yeah both of them are fucking idiot to do so.
