I'm starting to think their MC's are lowkey self inserts that's why the MLs are all over them despite them being so freaking uninteresting, unseasoned chicken- like you said. They really said, here's Don Mafiano, 4th chief head leader king emperor of a century old gang, and here's Steve from HR lol- like this dynamic could def work if both of them share some part of similar personality, or if they are actually compliment each other's flaws, but nah, MLs are always intriguing while MCs are just goody two shoes that have plot armor only coz they're the love interest

They are all so dumb, I dropped the author’s previous story because the mc was such a bland pushover with no spine and nothing interesting in his body, I thought this was gonna be different. Why is the author able to write good counterparts but he cant give the same backbone to their main characters? I expected more from the teach but he has no brain, he’s like a yes man to all the wrong people, every update just proves to me of how much an unseasoned chicken he is.
