I've seen comments like this, I might be missing some part of the plot- but when did he manipulate him? the only time I remember that he "manipulated" him was on the earlier chapters when they kissed and he puked (which I still don't get too) but other than that wasn't he straightforward on his intents? if he said he killed and will kill someone, he'll do just that apathetic as it may be, same as when he said he liked the teach, he proved that by surrendering and even taking a bullet for him, so I'm lost what yall on about?
right. was confused too. guwon has a busted ahh moral compass but he has never manipulated teach (from what i remember). hes not exactly an incredibly calculating individual. like u said, hes pretty straightforward. doesnt mince his words.
when he said he only saw the hounds as dogs and not equals like teach, he proved it immediately.
he told sangjun that if teach wants him to die, he will. if teach thinks the village needs guwon gone, then thats what he'll do. he never manipulated the hounds into following him, which aligns w what sangjun said abt following him bc he thinks guwon was diff

I know manipulation when I see one.
You are entering his trap ....you feeble minded Teach.
God knows I wont be saving him.
Whether he lives is in the hands of the author writing....not me
