Honestly its not the illustrators fault. In fact they cleaned it up a bit. Its much worse in the novel. I dont think he has a concrete reason for doing things the way he is. Thats why i stopped reading the novel.

am ngl the story is doing such a bad work of showing us why Ian is acting the way he is and why as of right now we should sympathize with him, but honestly even knowing why Ian is the way he is bc of mc father.. the mc is Innocent and Ian just became an abuser
