Then he shouldn’t have been a manipulative snake in the first place??? How is anyone in their right mind would love your real self if you only pretended to be someone else from the start, especially when you had so many chances to tell the truth in your pretending. I don’t think the duke’s mentality with this is right, its taking advantage of Michele’s feelings to make him feel silly for being upset at the reveal.
