Manhwa pushed the timeline of MC meeting his gf/wife further. They should have already in contact by ch250ish if novel timeline was followed. I'm glad because novel MC is kind of a simp, but is understandable because of the past life. I believe they want to make the start of situationship more impactful.
Seems like they are cutting a few irrelevant shorter slice of life arcs. I prefer it that way as those kind of break the flow of the story. They are focusing on MC's progress on his objectives/revenge.

Novel MC became OP because of money investing and becoming rich quickly that it kind of made it boring. He literally became a Zuckerberg. Novel MC likes to collect people, yes "Richard I choose you". I skimmed reading a few chapters because there are a lot of people around doing things but does not move the plot. Novel is around 870+ chapters. It could have ended earlier around ch600, forgot which specific chapter. MC achieved his revenge but it continued some more to show everyone that he is very rich and powerful and a big simp for gf and Steve Jobs. I'm already skimming a lot that I paused reading for about two months as my eyes hurt doing a lot of eyerolling.
