for chapter 57 I had a hard time understanding some of the dialogue, like I was confused. So I went on another website to read the dialogue and it was much more understandable.when they were eating the butt bread the girl started explaining how she made it but she suddenly got cut off. i feel like this translation didn’t make it very obvious that she was interrupted. she was about to say that one side had sweet potato in it but we didn’t really get that in this chapter. Then the teacher was basically like, “Hey, don’t mention the sweet potato or he’s going to go crazy,” but again I don’t think that came across very clearly in this translation. there was another part where she was cooking outside and everyone was waiting around for her. apparently the frankenstein-looking guy was complaining saying “damn it y does the kitchen have to be outside?” but in this chapter i didn’t realize that was what he was saying at all and the girl responds by telling him that he didn’t have to stay outside and they all could have gone inside if they wanted to. that whole interaction makes a lot more sense to me now after reading a more accurate translation on another site. i’m still a little confused about David though; im not really sure why he was acting like that towards the end of the chapter when he was talking to the girl, like the way the author drew him it looked like he was saying something like, “I want more,” but then all of a sudden he turned his head away. was he embarrassed or shy? Did he suddenly not want to talk anymore?? Then the frankenstein-looking guy says something like, “ what’s wrong with you? ur making her uncomfortable” but I couldn’t really tell what David was doing that was making her uncomfortable. i read the website with the better translation too but i still couldn’t completely figure out what was happening in that scene
