idc anymore, I just want ml and fl have a happy ending and ofc for the side characters to be happy too even if they don't stay together, the emperor and empress is so tragic in a way that emperor is so mentally unstable because he's been longing for his abuser(the ml's mother) actually I do pitty ml's mother for having a bad fate with the former emperor because of the wrong decisions that are made my the people around them but then that doesn't justify the grooming incident and as for the empress, she's obsessed, possessive and all to the emperor but then all she want is to have him and not that she genuinely loves him though I still want them to have a communication at least then maybe the empress will know that the emperor is trying to move on from the past and that the emperor will know that the empress will do anything for him, he's traumatized and she's a worst communicator and she suck at expressing, actually they both are
