Sorry, but I find one thing kinda funny. You have incredible imagination and writing skills, so why can't you write a fresh novel without shoehorning in sex scenes? Plenty of manhwa and comics reach peak storytelling without relying on explicit or intimate tropes. Is it absolutely mandatory to write a BL novel with explicit scenes? Come on, you could easily write a Shounen Ai instead. Fine, I get it—maybe the author chose the smut genre for MC's novel. I accept all of that... I really do.I am not minding it ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭. But why are the thoughts and mindsets of every single character in this manhwa kinda weird? Something feels fucking off. One moment they're showing us this deep, emotional story, and the very next moment, characters are making the most illogical decisions.
Another trend I've been noticing in manhwa lately is how people laugh about anyone who is a virgin, as if they’ve committed some huge crime. Meanwhile, characters who hook up all over the place or have tons of experience are portrayed as the ideal, perfectly smart attractive human beings. Like, what the actual fuck, bro? What the fuck?!!! Where are we even heading with this, excuse me?!

Well BL and Shounen Ai are two different genres. One caters more towards story. One caters more towards fantasy. A lot of BL is just the author’s fantasies written out. But I agree with you, the whole “you’re a virgin and that’s weird” concept is a little annoying. It’s something high schoolers worry abt when you hear it around school lol not a bunch of college students. So it comes off really weird.
