I feel like it's a complicated matter tbh. It's like in Reverse Thinking where I have trouble feeling sympathy for the other party even if they were victims in their youth considering how their revenge look like on someone who doesn't remember a thing lol
exactly, and plus, nothing e v e r excuses rape. honestly, that’s one of the worst crimes someone could commit imo. i think the only reason why i can even feel the tiniest, slightest bit of sympathy towards him is because this is fiction? because ik for a fact that if this was irl, i would be continuously aggressively wishing death upon him lol.

ugh i feel so awful for the MC, he deserves better, but any time i start to feel bad for the ML, i genuinely just have to push those feelings down because let’s face it, we all know he’s a horrible person and shouldn’t deserve an ounce of pity.
