I understand wanting to get revenge and everything but he keeps on going even after he realizes Michele doesn't know anything about what his family did and is a genuine person who loves him earnestly. I guess it's just easier to use Michele as punching bag rather than seek revenge from actual guilty people responsible for his pain.
Ain taking revenge on the wrong person. I hated that for judging Michaels feelings. Ofc he'd have doubt, you set him up to have those doubt. He's not really In love with the servant he's In love with ain/Ian not the duke or servant. The whole twist was insane being toyed for a whole month was insane.
Tbh ain prolly know all these but doesn't care cus he really just wats to manipulate Michael. I can sympathize with his bad experiences but I don't really like how he's doing this to Michael. Idc even if Michael father did him wrong. Michael was caught up in this situation. Being an innoceng person and Getting married off to an unfamiliar place ALONE was one thing but having a whole plan for his demise on top of that is an overkill.
