Doing another reread and while it can be a bit torturous that it's not all lovey happily ever after, I think their struggles & progression as a couple is realistic and makes the sweetness (& sexiness) all the more delightful. I am hoping the director's storyline wraps up soon tho bc it needs to just be it's own spin-off atp
