Every time I read a Korean Josei, I wonder why it ends (or begins) with the female lead pregnant. Then I remind myself that it’s a great narrative device and that South Korea has an extremely low birth rate, so such fertility is viewed positively in fiction (especially in this genre).
Can you recommend any Josei (smut or not, it doesn't matter) where the female lead doesn't have children (neither before nor after meeting the male lead)?
