It's a 4-year time skip. The separation did NOT go well for Garam. He's unable to play or even listen to the piano anymore, it seems that he can't help but associate it with Heejae, so he's avoiding it completely—he even refuses to talk about why he quit to his own family. He's seems to be working part-time in a factory and at a convenience store in Korea and has been spending his days drinking and sleeping. Last panel tells me that he might be reuniting w/ season 1 characters (i don't remember her name honestly, but I'm pretty sure it's the same girl he fought with to play a duet w/ Heejae)
