I initially commented a lot about how people were wrong to assume aaron was a green flag and that he was a yandere through and through. Im going to now think this story acc. To yujin's pov. And it sucks to buckle the fuck up. Yujin was just a baby being a baby which cost him his mother, it was not his fault, but his father abused and tortured him for it. We can see just how deep his trauma runs from his father's abuse, he trmbles like a leaf whenever his father is mentioned, is near or can be seen or heard. When his father broke into his apartment, he slammed Yujin and pushed him on the floor, then held him down with his feet, his own child, he not only actively mentally physically emotionally abused Yujin, he shattered him, he humiliated him. Its pretty obvious that the reason of Yujin's stage fright is his father and his abusive mean disgusting language towards Yujin. It was absurd that randomly while fucking someone, a blond famous actor tries to recruit you, its even more wierd when he manipulates you into fake dating him for his own needs and selfishness (side eye to you aaron, because as much as I love you, I love Yujin a million times more.), he uses your situation to force you in a contract relationship. He gives you a studio, new friends, a good life, all that you never really asked him for, but deep down craved it. He basically strips your soul naked and bare. He brings you in the limelight, infront of the nation, you go from a nameless dude (as people only knew his voice form the video, never his face or name) to the hollywood's biggest actor's beloved boyfriend, which is a lot to take in. Not to mention the said Actor is a sociopathic with borderline Pyschopathic tendencies who sometimes crosses the lines making Yujin feel small and helpless like the time when aaron told him to take whatever was given like a good little pet, which is inhumane. Your father was the one who wa shunting Aaron Hunter which gave Aaron Hunter, your lover, a lifetime trauma trauma ch gave him insomnia and you and your voice is the only cure for him, not only would you feel tremendous guilt for what your father has done to your "boyfriend" despite it not being your fault, you cant help but feel morally physically emotionally trapped and burdeed. Because why you. WHY YOU? why does it have to be you carrying the blame and fruits of everyone's trauams, whrn it was never your fault, WHY is it always you being abused by People who are supposed to love you- be it your father, or be it Aaron. Not to mention the whole world finds it out, what else would you do rather than running away? Its his defence mechanism, thats how he survived until now, fight or flight, he fought whenever he could, but where he couldnt, he chose to ran and that is completely valid. Anyone would take the first chance to bolt away after whatever he has faced. I knew things would go downhill the author mentioned that this season will be filled with angst and tears, but why is it always Yujin on the receiving end of pain? I understand that Aaron was in pain when Yujin left him, I understand that Aaron is not normal and that he lost himself entirely, but so did Yujin, then why do we validate one's feelings but dismiss the other's? Why are we minimising Yujin's trauma when in reality he is the most traumatised person in this manhwa. It broke my heart seeing Yujin always the free spirited, never the one to back down always putting other people in their places (except his father since he was deathly scares of him for the abuse he faced) reduced to a mere prey in the hands of a predator. It shattered me to see my beautiful baby so heartbroken and feel so used. I hoped there wont be any rape, but alas, this is definitely rape, Yujin said No, he did try to rile up aaron more, but it was only because thats his nature, he lived in the streets, thats how he survived, it did not look like he felt a single bit of pleasure during their intercourse it looked like he was broken and exhausted. Not to mention he was beaten up and almost gang raped by a bunch of thugs right before this. He said he wanted to go home and that genuinely felt like a pang to my heart, I truly wish that Aaron gets the lust/yearn/pain blind off of his eyes,a nd tries to empathise with yujin (which I know is very difficult since he doesnt understand emotions like a normal person does), but atleast weeing Yujin like that should do something to the strings of his heart. I just wish Yujin to get so much love and care from everyone, why pain? Why cause my baby pain? It breaks my heart when I see him cry and curled up.. the way he covered himself in the blankets at the end of the chapters hadmye crying my eyes out. He doesnt deservee this.
