Ai use in drawings :')

I'm pretty sure they used ai for one of the panels. When you zoom in a lot of things don't make sense or connect weirdly.

It's the panel where the demon lord is standing on a rock platform and is staring over the landscape with the text "carrying his dying comrades in his heart, he ventured into the central plains ... etc." A bit after the half of chapter 191.

It's not the kind of real drawing of a landscape that when you zoom in, the artist made use of cleverly placed blobs and strokes that make a cohesive drawing when seen from afar. It's too detailed up close with crisp lines that make nonsensical connections of buildings or fields. If an artist did work in such fine detail, there is no way they would make those choices. Another giveaway is the repetitive sizes of the fields, rocks or mountains. Not to mention the blue hazed colours.

I kind of get why they would want to use it to save time. Especially for such a large panel. But idk if feels icky to me. Using ai as references is understandable, but to boldly place it there as a final image is kind of crazy. I personally enjoy reading manga because of the art itself. And it doesn't feel great to know you're reading something with no effort put in except for a few button clicks.

I really do love this manga but now I'm questioning every panel I see. I hope they don't use it again :')
