i love the author's works but this one isn't for me ig. i gave it a chance bcs the plot seems interesting, it would've been so good if it was executed properly.
first, i didn't like that they met as toddler and adult and had a father and son relationship. ik, i should've had skipped this but i still gave it a chance thinking they'd be separated and reunited and all that shit but nah.
second, the angel thing plot felt like it was thrown there for the sake of it lol. there's no build up or hints that kou's gonna be an angel and that being a leopard is his punishment yada yada. they should've at least hinted it or just kept the transforming theme and build up from there and ditch the angel part.
lastly, i did not like how kou's basically a minor, or hinted that he's a minor when their sexual relationship started. genji basically said that he's about to turn 18, but did all that stuff. i thought he's at least 19 or 20 seeing that he got a job and all that.
they should've made him an adult who had an amnesia after being punished and turned into a leopard. it would've been more interesting, like the "barefoot angel" manga (idk if anyone here read that yet) bcs that was so good and was executed well. this was a wasted potential seeing how good the author is with their other works.
ps. i love his wife thoo!! tsubaki is so gorgeous and her personality was interesting even though we only saw bits of it huhu
