I personally like the ending. It leaves much of the thinking to us.. do they end up together or do they eventually stop? Does the wife ever find out? Though I’d much rather prefer that there be no wife to begin with or if they had already gotten a divorce (mainly because women being used simply as plot devices doesn’t really feel right to me) I do enjoy the book and enjoy their interactions.
