hot take I know teach is an unreliable narrator but from his/the towns people’s point of view Guwon was a cold blooded killer that oppressed them, so realistically from their pov it’s not necessarily a bad thing he’s dying? it’s almost like some tyrant king dying and now they are free. Like I don’t feel too much animosity towards them for tying to kill him…..
