The art is pretty and i am happy they adopted it, but man some things which are so frustrating. They butchered all of the smut scenes as well as the emotional grows of Won-Woo. Large part of it was his relationship with Hwag and her father thats just cut here... such a shame.
Couldn't be more agree. The novel give so much details and deep plot than this manhwa. That's the most beautiful part of the story, but the manhwa version just cut it abruptly, delivered it in such a clumsy way.
Sigh... Why tho, they can take more time, or maybe the author just has tightened uploading schedules, so this is the results

Like the story is so so good that if they’d just depicted it as-is, it would be an amazing manhwa. I’m inclined to blame the publishing side for things like this, but who knows. It’s just disappointing that toxic garbage that’s 70% smut gets 200 chapters while a story with an actual plot and world-building and compelling characters gets chopped up and rushed.
Two of my other favorite BL novels are being adapted into manhwa - Follow the Sheep in the Abyss and Mansaengjong/Late Bloomers - and it gives me zero confidence that they’ll be done well.

I use to think nothing is wrong with this even if they did deliver some stuff differently bc there will always be difference when adapting but after reading their intimate scene I'm like huh?? It feels so lacking. Damnit, It's sad but I might get this out of my top 10 list. Imma check the novel tho even if I'm dyslexic. Can't waste such a good story, gotta read it
I am also dyslexic and english is just my seconf language, but you should really go for it. The plot and the charachters are so much more interesting. Almost everyone has a different feel to them and i dont wven know how they managed to make them different when the dialog is word to word.
Anyway go for it, its a lot but you should check it out. Its easy to follow novel and mahnwa, eve1ry 10 chapter it the book. So 1-10 chapter =book1 10+ chapter= book2 and so on. Meybe thats why they cut so much....
Bro they are doing this story so dirty. Leaving aside all general mess of choppy editing and skipping whole sections of plot and splicing shit back together in the most confusing way possible, why did it turn their first time was turned into something abrupt, passionless, and dubiously consensual? It's none of those things in the novel. JFC.
