I definitely agree, i think aarons trying to find a different approach because when he was being nice and gentle yujin still left, so he changes his approach in the complete other direction.
Lets not forget that aaron wasnt raised normally either so i think his thinking process is in some way easy but also really complicated
I am not defending him but i can understand where he is coming from
I also think that at the end aaron noticed that this wasn’t the right approach either but i think he is so desperate for yujin, he doesnt even know what he should continue doing
He got his heart lowkey broken so he is desperately trying to fix (again i dont support what he did but i understand)
Sorry if my reply doesn’t make any sense
No your response makes sense, I get it!! I was trying to remember and look back and find what we knew about Aaron's past, but I didn't find what I was looking for :( but he's so lost about this situation, he doesn't know what to do. Yujin is probably like the only person he's loved this way, so it's a new emotion to him too, so he's trying everything (but the right thing) to make him stay.

Am I one of the only ones that sees a secondary point to this chapter?? I'm not defending Aaron and his actions or anything, actually far from it. I dislike Aaron a shit ton rn because of what he did, and I'd love to throw a bottle or two at his face or chop it off, but alas I cannot. I'm just saying, looking deeper into the dialogue/inner monologue of yujin, connecting things in the story, I'm finding another meaning for what this chapter might mean. There definitely is a better way to show what I'm about to say, but I guess this is the route the author took, so there's nothing I can do about that. It's her story, her characters, and I'm just a lazy chud who reads illegally so. I shall explain MY thoughts to you guys. !!THIS IS MY OPINION BTW IF THAT WASNT CLEAR!!:
In the previous chapter, they're arguing and just like rage waiting each other about how much sex theyve with other people over the past year and what not. Imo yujin follows along and does this because he trusted and thought Aaron wouldnt hurt him at all since he's been so kind, sweet, and nice to him in the past. But in this chapter we see Aaron breaking yujins trust in him that he believed Aaron wouldn't do anything that would hurt him in anyway. We also get his inner monologue, and we see how yujin gets reminded of his father when Aaron looks at him with those dominating type of eyes, ripping everything away from and how his father lost control once they lost his mother. And then throughout he's realizing that Aaron used to touch him softer, speaker to him lighter, and everything else just isn't the same as it was a year ago. He's also realizing that he liked the way Aaron touched him, held him, kissed him, etc. and doesn't like the way Aaron currently is treating him. I'm interrupting the line "I want to go home" as yujin meaning somewhere he felt safe in the past: aka aaron. Whenever he had panic attacks before, Aaron would help him calm down. Aaron made him feel safe in the past on multiple occasions before and after his dad's return, but things specifically blew up because his father returned.
Now onto Aaron. Imo Aaron has changed the way he's acting and trying to remove yujins freedom and dominate over him. He was being nice and sweet to yujin before, hoping he'd stay, at the end of S2, but as that didn't work. So he's trying something different: again dominating yujin, shackling him so he can't run away. Something Yujin associates with his father as seen in S1 finale. Yujin isn't used to Aaron being like this towards him and started to associate it with the way his father treated him after the loss of his mom. Aaron wants to act like what he does and how he treats yujin currently, doesn't affect him, but it clearly does. When yujin tells him to go away at the end of this chapter, I think Aaron is realizing how much he just fucked up because yujin also wrapped himself up in the bed sheet. Something he does when he's feeling unsafe, anxious, and/or scared. It's also the last time Aaron saw yujin at the end of S2, so Aaron should be aware of what yujin cocooning himself means. I think he's realizing that instead of making any type of progress Aaron hoped for, yujin is stepping further away from him, and it's his fault.
!!!AGAIN THIS IS ALL JUST MY OPINION AND THEORY, NOTHING IS FACT OR ANYTHING, EVEN IF YOU THINK IM STRETCHING IT!!!
This is the end of my explanation of why I think this chapter exists. If you would like to discuss this more, in a civil manner, then I welcome the discussion.
