I’m wondering if it’s his deceased sister. We’ve seen that the original lover was a woman and he’s indiscriminate with his current flings; his anecdote of past traces leading to dead reincarnations aligns with MCs sister (who obviously looks very much like him) having died early.
Maybe the author will even do a whole “plot twist, her daughter was the result of a one night stand between them” since no dad has been mentioned that I’m aware of?
