The story, plot, characters are all pretty good. It's nothing ground breaking and the pacing and progression is pretty good. The characters seemed to have motivations beyond what's shown in the story, however, we as readers were not able to see them. But that's okay as it gave them some depth. Overall, characters are pretty good and realistic, and so is the trauma. Romance was a little strange (unnecessarily forced into the story). It's not bad, but the story could have worked without romance, or maybe with a better written romance Overall it's not bad, in fact a lot of it was done well. And the end result is better than average, but nothing to sing about.
